William Shakespeare-Renaissance Times

William Shakespeare was an Poet, Playwright. His birth date is still unknown.

He was Baptized on 26th April 1564. So historians believe that he may be born on or after 23 April 1564. He was born to John Shakespeare( A Glovemaker) and Mary Arden. There are no existing documents about his life  and his education is also unknown. Some people think that no William Shakespeare even exists.  If he existed he was name The title Bard of Avon. Bard meaning as a poet and Avon the river. He actually has 80 variations to say his name. He used more than about 20000 words in his plays. 

Some of his most famous plays are Hamlet,Romeo and Juliet and The Merchant of Venice. He used to enact his plays at the famous globe theater which was one of the largest theters in the world at that time. His theater's was renamed The Kings's Men when King James took over in 1603.

Richard Russell is an American author known for writing the Percy Jackson & the Olympians series,His books have been translated into 37 languages and sold more than 30 million copies. He is regarded as one of the greatest modern time authors in the world.He graduated from University of Texas at Austin, where he double-majored in English and history. For fifteen years he taught history and greek and roman mythology which is notable in his books, in public and private schools in The Bay Area(Which is a featured a lot of times in his books), and in San Antonio, Texas. Some of his notable works are The Magnus Chase series, The Percy Jackson Series and the Tres navarre series plus the Kane Chronicles. His books have recieved great responses from children around the world.

There is an interesting story behind why Rick Riordan starting on the Percy Jackson books. His son Haley had been diagnosed with ADHD and he was Dyslexic. He loved the subject his father teached. With his son's persistance he started his first book and included many characters from his son.

Percy was made to be diagnosed with ADHD and Dsylexia., and so the story progressed.

William Shakespeare and Rick Riordan are great personalities, they are both amazing novel writers. They have a very creative imagination.After all a normal person could not make up an elvish king and queen roaming in the forest and the queen falls in love with donkey headed man, and Mt.Olympus being at the top of Empire State building and the Underworld being under Los Angeles.They have similar styles of writing and understanding things. Shakespeare often used to have Greek and Roman Gods as characters in his plays, such as Iris, Juno, and Ceres in The Tempest and Hecate in Macbeth. He even used Queen Hippolyta and Theseus as characters in A Midsummer Night's Dream.He based some of his stories on Greek myths.His story A Midsummer Night's Dream takes place in Athens, Greece.

We know every nook and corner of the person c'ant be the same. There are some differences between them. William Shakespeare mainly wrote comedy's and human emotion,he was a great playwright. Riordan mainly was focused on writing mythological and science fiction stories. Shakespeare also focused on more of plays and acting. Riordan was able to get two of his books in movies. But they did what they could do in their time period.or as shakespeare would say

we didst there's few or none will entertain it we could doth in our times and we art proud of what we didst.
