Nicolaus Copernicus - Renaissance Times

Nicolaus Copernicus was a astronomer from Poland who is best known for him discovering the Heliocentric Theory. During that time period the church had told everyone that the earth was in the middle of the earth. Nicolaus did not believe this. His observation had proved otherwise. So he found out. This led to the discovery of the Heliocentric Model. He Published his findings in a book called De Revolutionibus Orbium Coelestium. It says that the sun not the earth was in the middle of the universe. The Catholic Church took this very badly. and banished his books and set them to fire. But the idea did not disperse and the world found out.

At First the Church did not approve of his discovery as their beliefs were that god had put them in the midlle of the solar system and all the other planets orbited the Earth. They banned Copernicus's books, and declared that they should not be read. If they found anyone reading the book they would be excommunicated from the church. Only after two centuries with modern technology scientist were able to find out that copernicus theories were right.

Albert Einstein-Modern Times

Albert Einstein was born in Ulm, to a middle class family of Jews. Like many other great innovators like Steve Jobs, He was kicked out of school.  At that time Einstein's faily was not respected. So they moved to Italy when he was 15. He renounced his german citizenship and had no citizenship for any years. Until he was given swiss citizenship in 1921 where he finished his higher education and worked for a swiss patent office for 7 years. Until he accepted us citizenship and started helping US build a Atomic Bomb. His Studies are what enabled us to build the nuclear bomb.

Some of his notable works are The Theory of Relativity and Photoelectric Effect and E=Mc2

More about Albert Einstein

`Einstein was known to have worn the same dress everyday and thought the simple grey dress he wore would not waste his brainpower for selecting his clothes . His methods were followes by some famous personalities later for example Steve Jobs and President Obama and Mark Zuckerburg . The brain of physicist Albert Einstein has been a subject of much research and speculation. Einstein's brain was removed within seven and a half hours of his death. The brain has attracted attention because of Einstein's reputation as one of the foremost geniuses of the 20th century, and apparent regularities or irregularities in the brain have been used to support various ideas about correlations in neuroanatomy with general or mathematical intelligence. Scientific studies have suggested that regions involved in speech and language are smaller, while regions involved with numerical and spatial processing are larger.Studies have suggested an increased number of cells in Einstein's brain.Einstein was also a part of helping us create the first nuclear bomb as they had agreed that they did not want that power in the hands of the nazi's.Einstein also formulated the formula for the energy. E = mc2 which has been dubbed the most famous equation in the world.

Similarities between Albert Einstein and Nicolaus Copernicus

They are world renowned scientists. Known most famously for their discoveries in the field of astronomy. They are also known as a mathemathicians, Einstein formulated the formula for the energy. E = mc2 which has been dubbed the most famous equation in the world.  They both had to be thrown away from their home. The church disapproved of copernicus theory because their beliefs were that god had placed them in the middle because they thought humans were the most important living creatures,in the world and Albert Einstein was being targeted for the Nazi's.

Differences between Albert Einstein and Nicolaus Copernicus

Albert Einstein also had a love for physics. He discovered many theories in relativity, energy and atomic energy.etc. He was a simple man.
